The top investments for June 22 show a vastly different group of leading investments, with two very different investments leading the pack: Singularity University (SU) is a benefit corporation headquartered at NASA’s research campus in Silicon Valley, which enables startups that develop technologies that aim to address humanity’s biggest challenges: education, energy, environment, food, health, poverty, security, space and water. This is the kind of investment that seems to appeal to those of us who are looking for social impact investing options.
Equally popular is Bakersfield Investment Club (BIC) Real Estate Development Corporation, which is one of many investment clubs nationwide that purchase stock in various companies. BIC says it has about 476 members, and plans to expand operations to every major city in the US.
A close third is SABEResPODER, a mobile marketplace and media channel that targets new immigrants through exclusive partnership agreements with foreign consulates. Which just goes to show that media and advertising continue to be a major investment interest.
