Zirra Launches Crowdfunded Investor Campaign to Further Automate Company Analysis Capabilities

Zirra, a platform that offers company analysis tools powered by data science and machine learning, has now launched an equity crowdfunding campaign through SeedInvest, to allow accredited investors take part in the company’s analysis automation efforts.

SeedInvest is a leading equity crowdfunding platform that provides individual or accredited investors with access to startup investment opportunities at all stages. We believe sophisticated investors in innovative platforms, such as SeedInvest, to be the perfect partners on our voyage: investing in Zirra will result in further automating company analysis, allowing its investors and others to get a quicker, brighter picture on companies before making an investment decision.

“We believe investors should expect a higher degree of accessibility to the private market,” said Moshit Yaffe, Co-founder, and CEO at Zirra. “We aim to deliver them tools to improve their understanding of their portfolio companies, companies in screening or due-diligence process, or any company they would like to understand better. As pioneers in company analysis technology, we’re thrilled to work with innovative financing platforms such as SeedInvest, and the investors listed on them, who proved to be open minded to innovative platforms of investment.”

Zirra empowers investors, executives, and other users by automating company analysis and present outputs that traditionally had been available to a select few. Its A.I. enhanced company analysis is reducing the need for labor-intensive human data collection and insight synthesis.

Zirra is doing so by collecting and aggregating market and company data from a myriad of public and private information sources, including structured directories, semi-structured databases, and completely unstructured text. It utilizes the latest NLP techniques to process the data and applies data-science and machine learning to produce an analysis that includes a company’s competitive landscape, risk and success criteria, and continuously-updated ratings and rankings. The generated insights are supported by new data derived from crowdsourcing and market surveys.

Zirra’s offering consists of company analysis reports, an analysis chatbot, and an API for partners who wish to integrate analysis inputs into their offerings. The API is offered to search directories as well as funding platforms on a subscription model. The funding will be used to develop our analysis automation further, improving our capabilities to detect more company metrics and criteria, and improve its accuracy and immediacy.

Zirra had already secured $500,000 before launching the crowdfunding campaign and is now looking to allow more accredited investors to join, seeking a total of $1.5 million in a convertible loan. In addition to purchasing equity in Zirra, investors will enjoy perks such as a free year of company analysis chatbot service; a Due Diligence report on a company of choice; and an exclusive investor dinner with Zirra’s executive team and its current investors.

Established in 2014, and recognized by the Office of the Chief Scientist in Israel, Zirra has raised $2.2M, from investors such as Moshe Lichtman, former corporate VP at Microsoft and now a general partner at IGP; AOL’s Nautilus (now Verizon ventures); and from Professor Dan Galai, co-inventor of the VIX Index, and Professor Zvi Weiner, Dean of the Business School at the Hebrew University, both are globally recognized researchers in the field of company rating and market risk analysis. Most of the investors who joined the funding round started off initially as one-time clients who subsequently became return customers, and are now investors.

Zirra’s customers include global and Tier 1 brands such as Microsoft Ventures, Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, Silverlake Partners, Visa Israel, and Verizon Ventures. Additionally, Zirra is in the final stages of establishing a strategic agreement with one of world’s leading stock exchanges, where Zirra’s various solutions will play an integral part of their platform.
